About Mother Meera
An Avatar is an Incarnation of the Divine and comes to Earth whenever there is need to uplift and protect humanity. One of the most widely revered and loved of these Avatars is Mother Meera. Mother Meera was born on December 26, 1960, in the village of Chandepalle in southern India. She soon showed herself to be an unusual child: by the age of three she would report "going to various lights". Her parents treated her as an exceptional child and loved her very much. Her family was not especially religious and she was not brought up in any tradition. Her real parents were the spiritual guides that she met in vision; it was from them that she received the love and help she needed. The state of samadhi was constant for her. Under the auspices of her uncle, Mr. Reddy, she lived for some time in Pondicherry where her extraordinary presence attracted considerable attention.
In 1981 Mother Meera made her first trip to West Germany, where she together with Mr. Reddy and her close companion Adilakshmi settled down a year later. She presently lives in Thalheim, a quiet village in Germany. Although she has not sought publicity, thousands of people from all over the world come to receive her darshan, her silent bestowal of grace and light through her gaze and touch.
Mother Meera bring down the Light and establish Peace, also She help the people to surrender to the Divine, to remember the Divine and to be faithful and sincere to their religion or to their belief. She help people to be happy in their families.
Her main purpose is to help humans and to make them happy, peaceful, contented, harmonious, and loving. Happiness and spiritual growth are connected. Being peaceful and being happy form the most important foundation of spiritual practice. Then the practice goes by itself.
Her aim is t o protect all aspects of the human being.
Adilakshmi said: Mother Meera understands human nature totally and knows how difficult it is on Earth. She helps all types of people whatever their life situation or stage of awareness. Other incarnations tend to focus their help on those on one stage of life.
Mother said: I have come to say that all paths are as good as each other and all lead to the Divine, and that therefore the various believers should respect each other's ways. For example, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Buddhists and other religious people can believe and follow their own faith, but should not hate or fight others' faith. People who follow any path can come to me - I help them to remember the Divine, and give them peace and happiness when they are in trouble.
